Data Systems Design (DSD) was founded in the early eighties by Jenny (Virginia) Mullins, a banker with extensive experience in bank operations and investments.  Jenny was later joined by her husband Bob, then CIO for the WV Department of Transportation, when the IRS and SSA tightened reporting requirements and introduced PC based electronic filing of Information Returns.  At that time there was virtually nothing available to perform this function and DSD saw an opportunity to fill a critical need.  DSD developed a quality PC based system - the IRS Reporter – which was designed from the ground up to handle all information reporting requirements, both paper and electronic.

   

The programming staff is experienced in both mainframe and PC systems, providing a unique ability to combine the best features of both.  The resulting software is fast, powerful, extremely easy to use, and maintains a record of 100% IRS/SSA format compatibility.  The Reporter is enhanced and completely replaced annually to insure strict compliance with regulatory requirements. DSD's reputation for providing outstanding software, support, and documentation demonstrates a continuing high level of commitment to its clients.
